My wife and I want to sincerely thank both Dani Jae and Wendy for resolving a small billing issue. We truly appreciate their thoughtfulness and kind gesture. Our balcony overlooked the golf course. Sitting there, watching the golfers and people enjoying the pool was so relaxing. Everything was luxurious and pampering. Utah liquor law: Be aware of the wine serving size is limited to 5 oz. You're better off ordering beer which doesn't seem to have the same restrictions. Golf course: The breathtaking scenery is one-of-a-kind. I beat my age on the course which was incredibly rewarding, and added a special touch to the game. It made my day! We enjoyed touring the site and learning about the ownership and lease-back options for various units. We're seriously considering purchasing a unit. Basalt Restaurant: Come and enjoy yourself, the food is outstanding, and views are unforgettable. Suggestion: Consider adding a covering to the glass between the bathroom and bedroom to avoid disrupting others in the bedroom. We'll certainly be back. Thank you Black Desert Resort!

Oh m goodness, please take me back to BDR!! I’ll admit that my first impression driving in was disappointment. I didn’t realize it was under construction, I mean MAJOR construction, but I wanted to be open to how the service would be. We were immediately treated by the parking attendant asking if we needed help, he then directed us to registration and offered to park our vehicle or we could go to self parking. Okay, nice…now let me see what the insides like…we were immediately met with a huge smile an a delicious, refreshing drink, please share the recipe!!! We receive our keys, instructions and all the info about the facility. Once in the room I noticed how quiet it was even with the bulldozers and backhoes were working in the next expansion. The sound proofing for the room was impressive. It was so quiet. For the 2 days we were there I never heard the construction noise. The room was well appointed and my absolute favorite was the Subzero fridge and the modern technology for the lights, TV, curtains and thermostat. My only complaints about the room is 1. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t great and 2. The room was HOT . Bringing the temp down to 68 and it never got below 72. I sleep better in a cold room so that was definitely a challenge. I did let the front desk know day 1 and they said they’d tell the maintenance team. The pools are beautiful! The chairs are new and comfortable, there’s a great shallow end and I love the steps into the pool. The ladder rails were too hot and slippery to get out so the steps were fantastic. Food and drinks can be ordered at the pool. The showers and bathrooms are down the stairs or an easy walk down the ramp. Wheelchair friendly!!! I honestly can’t wait to go back. I’ve never been to this area and it was so beautiful.

We came to play golf and even in the extreme heat , we were treated like royalty. The golf course and amenities are on an enteire new level. Destination golf is right here. FOOD is exceptional and the service is killer. Thanks Black Dessert for going above and beyond to making our experience unique and unforgettable.

This resort was amazing! The staff was absolutely wonderful. Everyone treated us so so well. Beautiful golf course and the property has views for days. The pool and jacuzzi were a big hit, we loved the golf course too. We were here with a big group of family and everyone enjoyed all the amenities in this resort. A special shout out to Jade at the front desk! We were welcomed with a very thoughtful note (in our room) as it was my daughter’s 10th birthday. To our surprise there was also a small cake in the fridge for her. This went above and beyond our expectations. Top notch service from the time we stepped onto the property until we left on day four. Highly recommended!

The place is just fun. Show up early to eat and get ready for your tee time. The course is fun and challenging but not frustrating. The caddy's are pleasant and helpful. The rooms are modern and comfy. The pool is relaxing. The gym is for real. Go. Just go. My wife and I spent 4 days here just kinda meandering. We'll be back.
